I tried to hide from this day. Well, not really hide, more like not think about...ignore...pretend it wasn't happening. I mean seriously, there is no way MG is old enough to go to kindergarten. "Real" school was still way, way in the future, right? Guess, what...it found us. Yesterday was her 1st day of school. She went Sunday to see the brand new school, Monday was parent orientation where we learned the ABC's of kindergarten, Tuesday was student orientaion and assessment (ie see you classroom again, see classmates, go with her teacher to id letters, etc), and then Wednesday for the whole day. SEVEN HOURS!! Kris and I walked her into school where her teacher was waiting outside her classroom door. So, we just walked her up to the door, took a quick picture and left. It actually went by pretty fast. I asked her so many questions about school when I picked her up that she said, "I don't feel like talkin' anymore".
Okay, kindergarten....ready or not, here she comes...
Breakfast on the 1st day of school
