Decorating our new house was fun! I so love the glow from Christmas tree lights! I wish it could stay up all year long!
We headed to Sparkle for Christmas on Christmas Eve's eve eve. I think it was? Anywho, MG lost ANOTHER tooth before we left for there. That's 2 teeth in 1 week people!!She got $5 for the 1st tooth and $1 for the next. That's the way the Tooth Fairy rolls when you lose teeth so quickly!
Here is the table at my parents' house set so prettily for Christmas Eve chicken stew.
Aunt Leslie & Uncle Bill gave MG a microphone. Give that girl a microphone and a full-length mirror to watch herself and she is good to go! Granddaddy tried out the microphone to see if it worked.
Santa must have moved MG from the naughty to the nice list because she got a SWING SET! And some other goodies too!
We went to church and then to lunch and to open presents at Nana & Poppy's house. It was a great afternoon because my parents were with us and all of our family was together.
A few days later I headed back to my parent's to celebrate my dad's 81st birthday!!!! I saw a great idea on the internet where you get how many memories the birthday person is and present them to them on their birthday. So, my family and I sent out an email (or several!) and got 81+ memories for my dad. I really think he liked it. We went to eat and then home for cake and we gave my dad his memory envelopes and read them aloud to him. It was such a good time!
We welcomed my niece's sweet baby boy, Julian, on Christmas Day. Isn't he precious??
